Major and minor depression are the most common poststroke affective disorders in the clinical practice. But manic disorders are seen rarely. While depressive disorders are generally seen secondary to left anterior cortical and subcortical regions injuries, manic disorders are generally seen in the injuries of the right orbitofiantal cortex. In this article, we present a case of manic disorder with, a left temporoparietal infarction in his magnetic resonance imaging and cranial computed tomography, because of the rareness of the case.
