In this study, 65 child and adolescent cases which were sent by the court to the Bak ırköy Mental State Hospital Forensic Psychiatric Unit, between 1991-1992 are examined retrospectively. The social-demographic properties of these cases, the type and the propagation of the offence and the data of the psychiatric diagnoses obtained from the hospitals records are investigated and reported. And the difficulties during the evaluation of the cases are emphasized.
