It has been research depressive symptoms in school phobia. For this purpose 20 children were taken as scurıpling unit consisting of 8 girls and 12 boys, median age 8.9. School phobia cases were compared with other clinic cases and nonclinic subjects. Depressive symptoms were found in school phobia cases. Mothers of school phobia were depressive than two control group mothers. Birleson child depression scale for children and Beck depression scale for parent were applied to subjects. No correlation was found between the depressive points of school phobia with their mothers points. Findings were discussed about elliciency of depressive symptoms on the school phobia and mother-child interaction.
