Dural sinus thrombosis is among the causes of pseudotumor cerebri. Therefore, radiographic examination has an important place in defining the aetiology. Methods such as scintigraphy, angiography and computerized tomography are not always effective in showing the pathology besides being invazive. On the other hand. MRI is both noninvazive and more effective in demonstrating the thrombosis. Below, two cases of pseudotumor cerebri diagnosed as having dural sinus thrombosis are presented with their MRI findings.
