Kompleks Parsiyal Nöbeti Olan Hastalarda MRG ile Saptanan Lezyonların irdelenmesi

In this study, the epidemiologic features, seiure types, responses to antiepileptic treatment, CT and MRI findings of 32 patients randomly chosen from Epilepsy Outpatient Dept of our hospital, are evaluated.

MRI has shown hippocampal sclerosis in 3 patients (% 9.3), enlargement of temporal horn in 2 patients (% 6.2). 17 patients (% 53.1) had various lesions. Among these are infarcts involving different areas (% 21.8), focal atrophy, gliosis and tissue loss (% 25), angiomas (% 6.2). So MRI showed some kind of structural lesions in % 68.7 of all patients. 10 patients (% 31.3) had normal MRI. In patients with CT only, structural lesions are found in % 56.2.

The aim of this retrospective study is to Show possible lesions, to evaluate the relationship of this lesions with seizure types, and to disscuss operative possibilities in antiepileptic treatment resistant cases.
