Somatoform Bozukluk Tanısı Alan Hastalarda Anksiyete ve Depresyon

One hundred and two outpatients with somatoform disorder according to criteria, were involved in present study to investigate the accompanying depression and anxiety. Age and sex matched control group with 50 case were also involved. Each case was investigated with DSM-111-R structured clinic interview (somatoform, mood and axiety moduls). In the patients group the first two diagnostic group were the somatization disorder (43.13 %) and the conversion disorder (24.5 %). Thirty-two patients (31.37 %) were diagnosed to have depression, 16 patients (15.69 %) were diagnosed to have anxiety. Result showed the close relation of somatoform disorder to mood and anxiety disorders. Results were discussed in relation with the literature
