In this study, we evaluated the records of 24 patients (15 male, 9 female) with Wallenberg syndrome who were hospitalized between January 1984-June 1995 in Bak ırköy State Hospital for Psychiatric and Neurologic Disease 1 st. Neurology Clinic. 3 patients with parezis affected the chewing muscles but with normal velum pharingewn rellexes were diagnosed as lateral pontin syndrome, whereas the remaining 21 patients were assessed as Wallenberg syndrome. Risk factors, clinical and radiological evaluation were reviewed in both groups.
