EEG‘de Yavaş Dalgaların Şizofren Hastalarda Klinik Önemi

CT results, head trauma history. Also the scores of brief psychiatric rating scale (the schizophrenic patients with dillusely slow EEGs were compared with patients without slow EEGs due to the subtypes of schizophrenia, duration of disease, number and duration of hospitalizations, neuroleptic dosage, family history of psychiatric disorders, extrapyramidal symptoms (BPRS), scale for assessment of negative symptoms and positive and positive symptoms (SANS, SAPS) were compared. The aim of the study is to test the prognostic value of the presence of slow waves in schizophrenic patients. 16 consecutive schizophrenic patients with dillusely slow EEGs and control schizophrenics were selected for the retrospective study.
