Disasters are the events which destroy the coping capacity of communities. Massive amounts of people are influenced by psychiatric consequences of disasters and usually care for all victims are not conveyed by existent psychiatric care personal. Integrating to local primary care units for psychiatric services both facilitate outreach to many people and make it possible to continue posttraumatic care for a long period. The intervention program after the Bingol city earthquake in 1 st of May, 2003 is discussed in disaster psychiatry concept in this paper.
