this study, we examined hemispheric lateralization characteristics in Alcoholics. For this reason we compared 47 male alcoholics who diagnosed with DSM-III-R criteria with 25 male healthy controls. Alcoholic group divided into two subgroups depends on KKM. In controls and alcoholic groups we examined hemispheric lateralization with dillerent hand, lower extremity, eye and ear preference tests. We found a signllicant shift to nondominant hemisphere in hand and ear preference in Alcoholic group in comperation with healty controls but not in eye and lower emtremity preference.
