Sneddon Sendromuna Genel Bir Bakış: Olgu Sunumu

Sneddon's syndrome is a rare occlusive arteriopathy affecting the brain and skin. The association of ischemic cerebrovascular disease and an ischemic dermatopathy, livedo reticularis, was recognized by a British dermatologists, Sneddon, in 1965. The cause of this syndrome detailed by Sneddon is unknown. In this report, this syndrome is briefly reviewed, with an example of a case with opercular symptoms, in the context of its clinical manifestations, its pathological and radiological characteristics, the role of antiphospholipid antibodies, the diagnostic approach to paients with cerebral ischemia and livedo reticularis, and the treatment options.
