In this study, it is aimed to investigate that what measure to heaithof the spousesof the bipolar allectif disorder. 54 of the spouses of the bipolar allectif disorder to form event group and 54 of the spouses of the physchial disorder to form control group. The identifying information form and family function assesment scale have been applied to spouses of the patients. In the analysis of the data with help of the percent distributions, analysis of variance, chi square test, t test have been used with SPSS for windows 6.0 programme. The event group included in the research differ from the control group in the problem solving, communication, roles, giving the necessary assistance general functions, behavior control. But this differance is not observed in the sub dimension called giving on emational reaction. The data showed that there was relationship between negative .family funtcion and disorder.
