Obsesif-Kompulsif Bozukluğun Tedavisinde Mianserin'in Etkinliği

In this study 60 patients with obsessive-compulsive disorder according to DSM-III-R diagnostic criteria, in a double- blind, placebo controlled manner effectiveness of mianserin and clomipramine compared. In the first week of therapy 30 mg mianserin, 75 mg clomipramine and placebo were giyen. In following three weeks period 60 mg mianserin, 150 mg clomipramine and placebo were giyen. After therapy, the clinical evaluation revealed that the effectiveness of mianserin and clomipramine in obsessive-compulsive symptoms is superior or at least equal to placebo. Besides, side effects like nausea tremors, sicca, sweating, constipation and visual disturbances were less in patients.
