Proksimal Posterior Serebral Arter Tıkanmalarının Farklı Klinik Özellikleri

We studied 8 acute stroke patients with proximal posterior cerebral artery obstruction whose clinical features have been liked middle cerebral artery obstruction. Most patients had contrlateral hemiparesis, homonymous hemianopia hemispatial neglect and sensorial loss or sensorial inattention and there was also aphasia in 5 patients who had a dominant hemisphere lesion. The diagnose of each case has been done after CT. Occipital lobe, thalamic and inferomesial temporal lobe infarct have been found. The cortical symptoms can be defined by thalamic involvement. The idend ıfication of this syndrome can give important clues in treatment and prognose.
