Hipertansiyonda Mizaç ve Anksiyete Bozukluklarının Görülme Oranları

In this research, patients with hypertension (n=50) compared to normal controls, who have no evident psychiatric complaint or physical disorder (n=60) Hypertensive patients have %20 mood disorder and %28 anxiety disorder as a syndrome, while control subjects have only %6.6 mood disorder and %11.66 anxiety disorder respectively the results are statistically significant In symptomatic level symptoms like, depressive level symptoms like, depressive mood %20, suicidal thoughts %6, sleep disorders :24, loss of interest %18, irritabiliyty %28, psychomotor retardation %6, loss of energy %24, loss of apetite %8, emotional withdraval %12, anxiousness %28, tension %18, phobia %16, are seen in high percentages. These findings suggest that most of the hypertensive patients have mood and anxiety disorders and psychiatric evaliation should also be made in order to treat mood and anxiety disorders effectively in this population. Neither mania nor cyclothymia has seen during our investigation in both groupbs.
