Depression is the most common mental disorder. It is reported that depressive symptoms show dfferences between cultures and depressive diagnosis. This study is aimed to compare the depressive symptoms among medical students by age groups and with symptom distribution in clinically diagnosed patienti from previous studies. Beck Depression Inventoly (BDI) was applied to 684 students. The study concluded that some of the depressive symptoms showed significant differences by age groups and the symptom distribution differed from the distribution in clinical patients.
